Sarath Kumar Potharaju, 35, seems to have disappeared without a trace.

He had come to D.C. to consult on a short-term project.

On Easter Sunday, March 31, he was showing his visiting cousins around the city. He parked his rental car near the Old Post Office Pavilion. They had lunch, then set out to sightsee.

A video of the group at the FDR Memorial is the last time he was seen, about 4:30 p.m.

Then he vanished, leaving his relatives stranded. His family says none of it makes sense.

They don’t believe he walked away on his own and they’re frustrated with the seemingly slow pace of the investigation.
