Stocks open high on Wall Street
NEW YORK (AP) - Stocks are opening higher on Wall Street, a day after the Dow Jones industrial average closed at its second all-time high in a week.
There's word today that Federal Reserve policymakers are divided over when to end measures to encourage more borrowing and spending to help stimulate the economy.
Minutes of the Fed's March meeting show a few members want to end "relatively soon" a program that is spending $85 billion a month to purchase bonds, saying the costs likely outweigh the benefits.
