Survey: Spouses often hide traffic tickets, accidents
If, as they say, the basis of any strong relationship is trust, a new survey put on by a car insurance website reveals that men need to be more honest about their driving habits.
The Insure.com survey says that 42 percent of men in the United States have put a ding or dent in the family car and blamed someone else. On the contrary, just 27 percent of women respondents admitted to doing the same.
On the same token, the survey of 1,000 married spouses showed that 34 percent of husbands have received a moving violation or traffic ticket and not told their significant other and 31 percent of them failed to tell the other that they were in an accident.
