Police: Timothy John Fowler, missing Md. man, may be headed to Maine
PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Maine State Police say a missing elderly man from Maryland may be headed to Maine where he used to live.
Police say 69-year-old Timothy John Fowler, who has Alzheimer's disease, walked away from an adult day care center in Largo, Md., on April 8.
Authorities say he grew up in Portland, has three adult children in Maine and has talked about returning to the state. Police say he had no money, no driver's license and no vehicle but family members believe he may have found transportation to Maine.
Fowler is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and is bald with a long gray beard and glasses. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
