TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Towson University students are opposing an off-campus White Student Union.

Towson students, professors and administrators held a march for unity through campus on Tuesday evening. It was organized by the Student Government Association and another student group. Students said they wanted to show support for diversity.

The rally came after a student founded the White Student Union. It is not recognized as an official university organization. The group has organized nighttime campus patrols to deter crime.
