'Callista' kitten stolen from Washington Humane Society in D.C.
A reward is offered for the safe return of an adorable kitten that was stolen from the Washington Humane Society’s adoption center in Northeast D.C. Sunday afternoon.
The kitten’s name is Callista and she was taken from the WHS’ New York Avenue adoption center.
“It’s hard to believe someone would stoop so low and do this” said Scott Giacoppo, Washington Humane Society VP of External Affair, in a statement. “Our adoption process is so easy, it only takes a few minutes and in the end your pet is completely vaccinated, spayed or neutered and you have a long-term relationship with our organization in case you ever need help.”
Anyone with information about the theft of Callista is urged to call 202-576-6664.
