3 students shot after leaving birthday party in Capitol Heights
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County police say three high school students were shot after leaving a birthday party at a nightclub in Capitol Heights.
The victims were all students at Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale. Police say two are adults and one is a juvenile. According to police, they had just left the Seize the Dance nightclub early Sunday morning when someone approached them, fired several shots and ran away.
Police say the three male victims all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the attack was not random and that the victims were targeted. Police have not released any information about suspects or a possible motive.
