Charles County home finds soda bottle bombs in lawn
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Fire Marshall on Tuesday are investigating a report of explosive devices that were found in the front yard of a Maryland home.
Authorities are investigating the incident on 4455 Bellwood Drive in the small town of Pomfret.
The home owner initially heard explosions coming from her front yard, when she then found several chemical plastic reaction devices going off in front of her home. After authorities arrived at the scene, they said that the devices were soda bottle bombs, and the scene was now safe.
