Fairfax County movie theaters to show new ads to curb drunk driving
There's a big push to put the brakes on drunk driving this holiday weekend. And it's coming to a movie theater near you.
New ads are rolling out on Fairfax County big screens that will have you thinking twice before drinking and driving.
Memorial Day weekend is statistically one of the most dangerous times to be on the road. The Fourth of July is among the deadliest.
Two short ads from the Unified Prevention Coalition of Fairfax County will reach moviegoers starting Friday.
Print versions of the campaign are rolling out next month inside Fairfax County Connector buses and throughout local college campuses.
The Don't Drink and Drive campaign runs through the fall. Five large movie theaters will be running the ads.
