Movie crews shut down Teddy Roosevelt Bridge for major motion picture
Roads were shutdown on and around the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge today when Hollywood came calling.
A chopper overhead, a film crew below, and it's ... Showtime! ... as filming gets underway in D.C. for a major motion picture.
Curious onlookers lined up early for a front row seat.
The production company is being tightlipped, but rumor has it this is a sequel to the comic book superhero movie Captain America.
Setting the stage for the shoot was quite a production in itself. The Roosevelt Bridge, a major traffic artery between D.C. and Virginia was shut down. Twice.
Some of those watching talked with ABC7's Roz Plater.
