Suspicious package in Arlington temporarily shut down streets, Metro exit

Road and station exit closures in Arlington are now being reopened after they were temporarily shut down Thursday morning due to a suspicious device.

The Pentagon City Metro station’s east entrance was closed due to the suspicious package outside of the station.

Arlington Police said that they are now clearing the scene. They deemed the package to not be a threat.

The package was along 12th and Fern Street in Arlington, Virginia.
