Two-year-old boy found in pool, in critical condition
A two-year-old boy remains in critical condition after he was found unresponsive in an in-ground pool in Upper Marlboro Friday night.
Sources say that on a warm spring evening, families in the neighborhood had been outside enjoying the weather.
At about 8 p.m., the boy could not be found. Neighbors conducted a house-to-house search trying to find him.
Police received a call about 8:30 p.m. about a possible drowning, saying that the boy was found in the pool and was unresponsive.
The pool normally has a cover and no one knows how he got into the pool, according to people ABC7 talked with.
