Anthony Brown selects Ken Ulman as running mate
Maryland Lieutenant Governor and gubernatorial candidate Anthony Brown has chosen Howard County Executive Ken Ulman as his running mate.
"Ken Ulman has a tremendous record of leadership and results, and I'm excited to have him joining our campaign to build a better Maryland for more Marylanders," said Brown in a statement Monday.
Ulman, 32, has had a record of success as the youngest person ever elected as Howard County Executive, with highly-ranked schools and the lowest unemployment rate in the state of Maryland, Brown says.
Congressman Elijah Cummings has officially given his formal endorsement to the Brown-Ulman campaign.
Anne Arundel Delegate Ron George also says he's running for Maryland governor.
