The 911 calls that poured into Baltimore County were understandably frantic after a cargo train hit a dump truck and derailed last month.

For some, there was confusion in the initial moments after the crash.

For others, who were closer, the incident quickly escalated.

When flames connected with chemicals aboard the train, a massive explosion ensued.

Baltimore County Police were flooded with hundreds of calls in the first hour after a derailment that seriously injured the truck driver, injured four others, and damaged nearby buildings.
