Calvert County boy suspended over cap gun has punishment shortened
A boy who was suspended for 10 days after bringing a cap gun onto a school bus in Calvert County had his suspension shorted Friday.
The Washington Post reports that school officials reduced the boy's suspension from 10 days to three that he had already served. Officials shotened the boy's punishment during a disciplinary conference.
The boy will not be able to return to school at Dowell Elementary School in Lusby on Monday.
