Delta Flight 1763 goes off runway at Reagan National
A Delta Airlines flight heading to Minneapolis on Monday went off the runway at Reagan National Airport and got its landing gear stuck in about 12 inches of mud.
The Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority said Delta Flight 1763 went off the runway while taxiing and the passengers needed to be offloaded and returned to the runway.
A Delta spokeswoman says about 160 passengers got off the plane and were bused back to the terminal. No injuries were reported.
The passengers were put on another flight that left Reagan around 7:30 p.m.
