After a night filled with rain, Fairfax County Police are spending Tuesday morning dealing with downed wires and poles.

Fairfax County Police are dealing with wires that have fallen and two poles that have also fallen along Holly Hill Road and Richmond Highway in Groveton. The downed wires followed an accident where a car hit the pole at around 12:45 early Tuesday morning.

Dominion Power crews have been in the area working on the downed power lines and poles since 1:30 Tuesday morning. There are currently only 280 customers without power (down from the initial 4,000 customers).
Those currently without power should see restoration this morning—estimated between 8 and 10 in the morning.
