Joshua Davis: Vigil held for Md. teen killed by falling tree
CHEVY CHASE, Md. (AP) - A teenager killed by a falling tree during Monday's storm was remembered during a candlelight vigil as a "caring brother" and an "amazing kid."
Radio station WTOP reports that friends and family of 15-year-old Joshua Davis of Chevy Chase gathered Friday night for a community vigil. The vigil was held at the entrance to the Rock Creek Trail, near where Davis was riding his bike when he was struck by the tree.
Joshua's sister Corrina remembered her sibling as a "caring brother and not an annoying one." And friend Alki Halkiotis says Joshua always made her happy and was "just an amazing kid."
