Robert Fenn sentenced to 10 years behind bars
A 27-year-old former Chantilly special education teacher was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison for receiving and possessing child pornography.
A federal judge also sentenced Robert Fenn, of Herndon, to 20 years supervised released.
Fenn formerly worked at Poplar Tree Elementary School as a special education teacher.
“We vigorously investigate and prosecute all those who commit child pornography offenses,” said U.S. Attorney Neil H. MacBride. “This is especially so when those same criminals have been entrusted with the care of our children. The defendant will now have the next ten years to consider the consequences of his actions.”
Police searched Fenn’s computer and found several videos and pictures of children enduring various forms of sexual abuse. The indictment alleges that he received child pornography from March 3, 2012 through May 6, 2012.
