Joshua Davis killed while biking in storm, police say

Severe storms and a freak accident are believed to have killed a Montgomery County teenager, leaving friends and loved ones in shock.
Joshua Davis' body was found near a trail off of Jones Mill Road and Susanna Lane in Chevy Chase Tuesday. His family had reported him missing when he didn't return home in Monday's severe storms.
Police say the 15 year old's body was discovered about 200 yards off the main Rock Creek Trail. He had been riding his bike and it appears a tree fell on him.
“This area has heavy vegetation, lots of old trees, so we’re looking at the possibility this could be storm related,” says Capt. Jim Daly.
Friends say Davis was athletic and liked to bike off-road. They can't imagine an apparent freak accident would claim his life.
“He was a good kid, smart. Everybody liked him. It’s sad,” says his friend, Max Tran.
