30th Street water main break leaves homes without water
As many as 75 homes near Rock Creek Park in Northwest Washington may be without water for up to 8 hours while workers repair a water main break.
D.C. Water officials say that an 8-inch water main broke in the area of 30th Street near Davenport and Brandywine streets in Northwest at about 7:30 a.m.
Between 50 and 75 homes are affected by the break, which water officials say will take 6 to 8 hours to repair.
