Jamell Stallings sentenced to 18 months behind bars
An ex-D.C. police detective convicted of theft and other charges for stealing her brother’s identity and using it on loan applications was sentenced Monday to 18 months behind bars and five years’ probation.
A judge also sentenced Jamell Stallings, of Brandywine, to 500 hours community service.
Authorities say Stallings used her brother’s identity to take out an automobile loan and on several loan applications.
