Joshua James arrested in Jerome Peters murder
The man suspected of shooting and killing a 22-year-old man in Hillcrest Heights last month was caught in North Carolina on Tuesday, authorities say.
Joshua James, a 23-year-old Landover resident, was tracked down and caught in Cumberland County, Prince George's County Police say. He was wanted in connection with the June 30 murder of Jerome Peters.
Peters was at the home of a family friend on the night of the shooting watching his young child. Officials say the child's mother and another man, presumed to be James, came over to pick the child up.
