Three charged in sex assault, robbery of woman in Alexandria
Three young men have been charged in the sexual assault, robbery and abduction of a 25-year-old California woman and police believe they may be connected to other similar incidents.
Fairfax County detectives say that the morning of June 20, the victim was staying at a hotel on the 5700 block of Van Dorn Street, in Alexandria for the purposes of online solicitation of adult services when three suspects forcibly entered the victim's hotel room. One brandished a handgun.
The victim was then sexually assaulted and robbed of her money as well as of personal property.
The suspects have been identified as Michael Reed, 19, of Alexandria, Daqwanne Pearson, 18, of Temple Hills and Reginald Goodsen, 18, of SE D.C.
While the three suspects have been charged and are in custody, Fairfax Police believe there may be more cases related to these suspects and ask that anyone with pertinent information come forward.
