Xena, cat shot with arrow, could be adopted next week
A cat shot with an arrow last month could have a new home as early as next weekend, The Capital Gazette reports.
Xena, the 2-year-old Maine Coon mix, was shot through the left shoulder with a 2-foot arrow on June 12. Police aren't sure whether Xena was shot on her owner's property or elsewhere.
Xena had been living at a home in the 3000 block of Riva Road in Davidsonville for about a year and would often wander off the property.
An $8,500 reward is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot the arrow.
Xena is expected to complete all her shots and be spayed next week. Two families are vying for her adoption.
