The 15-year veteran played in just 10 games for the Orlando Magic during the 2012-13 season due to knee surgery, averaging just over 5 points per game in his short tenure with the team.

Before his short stint in Atlanta, Harrington previously spent time with Indiana, Atlanta, Golden State, New York and Denver. Over the course of his career, he has averaged 13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game over 947 regular season contests.

He was originally drafted 25th overall in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Pacers.

"He will give us additional depth and experience in the frontcourt, the ability to stretch defenses and another proven veteran in the locker room," Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld said.
