Counterfeit Apple products seized in raid at Arundel Mills

HANOVER, Md. (WJLA) - Maryland State Police officials recovered hundreds of counterfeit Apple products last week in a raid at a mall in Anne Arundel County.
Troopers raided a Cyberion store and an ST Tech Pros kiosk at Arundel Mills Mall on Aug. 23, recovering 24 counterfeit iPhones and hundreds of fake Apple parts and accessories.
State Police officials, who consulted with Apple officials to determine the authenticity of the items, estimated the total value of the counterfeit items at $89,000.
Investigators will turn their information over to the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office, which will determine any potential charges. No arrests have been made.
