D.C. ranked one of the best cities to live child-free
The nation's capital ranks high on the list of the best cities in the country for couples who choose not to have kids, Washington Business Journal reports.
Washington ranks No. 3 on the list based on the number of dual-income couples with no kids and the large number of career professionals.
Real estate listing site Estately, who created the list, considered cities with low numbers of children, great nightlife, restaurants, travel options and activities where kids aren't likely to be found.
Other cities include Madison, Miami Beach, Seattle, Pittsburgh and New York. San Francisco ranks No. 1 as the best city for child-free living.
