EPA, IRS executives under fire for using personal email addresses
Executives at IRS and Environmental Protection Agency are being heavily criticized for their recent use of private email addresses to conduct government business, Government Executive reports.
Failing to use their .gov email addresses for official federal work constitutes a violation of federal records requirements, a letter penned by a group of lawmakers said.
"Your use of non-official email accounts also frustrates congressional oversight obligations," the letter reads.
