The stabbings happened early Sunday morning in the small town of Inverness, which is roughly 75 miles north of Tampa and 70 miles northwest of Orlando.

A report from the Citrus County Sheriff's Office says 31 year old Jacob Kleintank entered a CVS on the town's Main Street at least twice on Saturday.

That evening, the report says he asked the pharmacist to fill a prescription, but the pharmacist said he couldn't fill it because it was from out of state.

Kleintank left, but the police report says that he returned around 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

At that time, Kleintank allegedly leaped over the pharmacy counter with a knife in his hand.

"Give me the drugs," Kleintank told the pharmacist according to the report.

The report says Kleintank then stabbed the pharmacist multiple times in his hands, which he had thrown up to protect himself.

Two other employees rushed to help. Authorities say they and the pharmacist were able to wrestle Kleintank to the ground, but not before all three had been stabbed.

One of the employees who rushed to help was stabbed in the lower left abdomen, and the other was stabbed under the left armpit.

Kleintank is facing three aggravated battery charges and one robbery with a weapon charge.

The sheriff's report says the department is requesting he not be given bond because it is feared he will flee back to Virginia if he is released.

The report says Kleintank and his girlfriend had only planned to spend a few days in Inverness visiting his parents.

In the report, Kleintank's address is listed as an apartment building on Richmond Highway in Alexandria.
