Trayvon Martin hoodie could end up at Smithsonian
WASHINGTON (WJLA) - A centerpiece of the Trayvon Martin case could end up at the Smithsonian. The head of the National Museum of African American History wants to display Martin's hoodie when the museum opens in 2015.
Lonnie Bunch says the hoodie represents an 'unique opportunity' to further the discussion about race in America.
Martin was wearing the hoodie the night he was shot and killed in Florida.
