Clifton General Store struck by S.U.V.

According to Deputy Chief Mike Riley, on Wednesday evening at approximately 8:06 p.m., an S.U.V. traveling south on Clifton Road lost control across the train tracks in downtown Clifton and struck the side of the Clifton General Store located at 7140 Main Street.

 Fairfax County Rescue, along with tech reconstruction team, have completed shoring up the building and as a precaution, slowed down the train track in the area to minimize vibration for building security.

No injuries were reported to the driver or customers in the store.
