Manassas hydrogen tank explodes
A building in Prince William County was evacuated Monday after a hydrogen tank exploded.
Authorities say they received reports of an explosion at about 11:30 a.m. The tank reportedly exploded inside a Manassas building in the 9400 block of Innovation Drive.
One person reportedly received minor injuries.
The accident occurred at a company called Utron Inc., at a research park near the Manassas campus of George Mason University. Utron specializes in high-velocity projectile launches, according to the company's website.
