Navy Yard shooting: New details expected to be released by FBI
(WJLA) - New details about the Sept. 16 shooting at the Washington Navy Yard are expected to be released by the FBI on Wednesday.
FBI officials hold a briefing Wednesday afternoon to release additional information gleaned from the investigation of the mass shooting, which killed 12 people.
Aaron Alexis, the 34-year-old Navy reservist who opened fire last Monday morning, was also killed during the attack.
The FBI has collaborated with a number of law enforcement agencies, including the MPD, to look into the shooting.
