Reagan National TSA confiscates 2 loaded guns in 3 days
Within three days, TSA officers at Reagan National Airport confiscated two loaded firearms from passengers.
On Friday, an Alexandria man was caught with a .25 caliber Raven firearm loaded with six rounds as well as seven additional rounds. The man, who was flying to Minneapolis, was cited by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police on a state weapons charge.
Two days later, a Centerville man flying to Atlanta was caught with a 9 mm caliber Rugar firearm loaded with 16 rounds. He was also cited on a state weapons charge.
Both firearms and ammunition were confiscated.
