Alexis Murphy case: Hunters assist in search
Investigators in the Alexis Murphy case are asking hunters to help find evidence in the 17-year-old's disappearance. The Nelson County Sheriff's Office says hunters across the state should keep their eyes open for anything that looks like it might be related to the case, according to WSET.
Investigators believe hunters can cover more ground and visit more remote areas than volunteers. They're asking hunters to lookout for clothing or anything unusual.
Alexis Murphy disappeared from a Lovingston gas station in August. Randy Allen Taylor has been charged in connection with her abduction. However, Murphy has not been located.
