Clarks study shows kids prefer crafts over pricey toys
Video games versus finger painting. Which one would your kids choose? According to a new study, more children enjoy the simpler things in life like climbing a tree or cooking.
Researchers say kids are more drawn to traditional activities than expensive high-tech toys. Climbing a tree, making a sock pocket and baking made the top three spots. And just in time for Halloween, kids say carving pumpkins is one of their absolute favorite things to do.
The research was compiled by the shoemaker Clarks. It's part of their list of 100 things to do before you are ten.
