(WJLA) - A Blue Line train with passengers on board was hit by a piece of track equipment overnight, a Metro spokesperson tells the Washington Post.

A movable arm hit the train just before 12:40 a.m. between the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Braddock Road stations, the Post reports, while work crews were replacing rail ties.

No one was injured, a Metro spokesperson told the Post.

It's the second incident involving a work crew on Metro this week. Over the weekend, a contractor was killed and two more were injured when a small fire ignited an explosion inside a tunnel near Union Station.

Harold Ingram, a 41-year-old contract worker from New Jersey, was killed in the incident.
