Microsoft to establish government cloud computing platform
(WJLA) - Microsoft is entering the lucrative government cloud computing market, Federal Times reports.
The Seattle-based computing giant will establish data centers in several places across the country and only sstore data from government agencies.
Microsoft is able to establish this new service after earning a certification from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, which ensures that all cloud providers meet strong security requirements.
