A Frederick man and woman face armed robbery charges after police say they robbed a man at gunpoint inside a Days Inn motel room early Tuesday.

Police say Corey M. Williams, 35, and Makayla B. Tyres, 19, broke into the victim's hotel room and robbed him of his ID and two cell phones at gunpoint. The victim was not injured.

It happened at the Days Inn on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick around 4 a.m.

Deputies canvassed the area and found a suspicious car parked near the victim's hotel room occupied by Tamara R. Lyles, 35, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant through Washington County. Lyles was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

Williams and Tyres were later arrested in a hotel room at the Comfort Inn on Patrick Street.

Both have been charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and theft under $1000. Williams was also charged with second-degree assault.
