Dupont Circle stabbing killed Sephar Jean-Simon, 22

WASHINGTON (WJLA) - A 22-year-old man who was stabbed outside a Connecticut Avenue bar early Monday morning has died, MPD officials say.
The stabbing happened after a fight outside a bar in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue Northwest, just north of Dupont Circle, just after 2 a.m., according to authorities.
MPD officials say the victim, Sephar Jean-Simon of Silver Spring, was found unconscious with a stab wound outside the establishment. He later died at a nearby hospital.
Police only gave a vague description of a suspect.
In a separate incident also related to the DuPont Circle fight, police arrested one man after he led them on a foot chase along the 1700 block of N Street NW.
That suspect is also believed to have assaulted an officer, dislocating the officer's shoulder. That officer was transported to a nearby hospital.
