Dogs poisoned in 2011

The person behind the cruel act has still not been found, and authorities in Loudoun County are stepping up their search for the culprit.

The two dogs, a 7-year-old miniature poodle and a 6-year-old Cairn Terrier, ate cheese-like treats that were laced with antifreeze on in November of 2011. They later died because of the poisoning.

Janice Raleigh, a Leesburg resident and the owner of both Fiona and Hank, said at the time that both of her dogs began vomiting before their kidneys started to shut down.

Both of her dogs, whom she called her children, had to be euthanized. Since then, she has been on a mission for justice.

"You messed with the wrong person," Raleigh said at the time.
