49ers vs. Redskins: Cold weather will test fans on Monday night

LANDOVER, Md. (WJLA) - It's the kind of game that tests who the real fans are.
The Washington Redskins' Monday night match-up against the San Francisco 49ers is a late start, with kickoff scheduled for 8:30 p.m., and the gametime temperature is forecasted to be a chilly 33 degrees.
The chill, plus the late start and the disappointing season thus far, could thin the crowds at FedEx Field Monday night.
Traffic could remain an issue though, with holiday traffic making its way around the beltway during the evening rush hour. Metro is planning to stay open late to accommodate Redskins fans and ease congestion on the way home.
The last Blue line train towards Franconia-Springfield will leave the Morgan Boulevard station at 12:25 a.m. and the last train in the direction of Largo Town Center will depart Morgan Boulevard at 1:33 a.m.
Entrances to all other Metro stations will close at their regular time.
