Toronto mayor Rob Ford ignites more controversy with graphic comments

(WJLA) - If you thought Toronto mayor Rob Ford’s behavior couldn’t get any more bizarre, he surprised the world again during a rambling and vulgar press conference broadcast on live television Thursday morning.

Ford was defending himself after former staffers alleged he had been verbally abusive, was with a prostitute, and snorted cocaine. He is now considering taking legal action against his accusers.

"I have to take legal action against the waiter that said I did lines at a beer market. That is an outright lie. That is not true," he insisted.

Ford has been under fire since recently admitting he once smoked crack in a drunken stupor. On Wednesday, Toronto City Council members voted overwhelmingly for their mayor to take a leave of absence.

When asked whether he had purchased illegal drugs in the last two years, Ford replied: "Yes, I have."

He then ended his remarks by responding to another allegation -- using salacious language we cannot publish or air.

"I've never said that in my life to her. I would never do that. I'm happily married. I've got more than enough to eat at home," he said.

Later, Ford apologized for his earlier "graphic remarks," and says he takes full responsibility for the unforgivable language he used.

However, he did defend himself by saying:"When you attack my integrity as a father and a husband, I see red."
