(WJLA) - A juvenile was killed Friday in a crash in Prince George's County, officials say.

The crash happened on Pennsylvania Avenue near Woodyard Road in Upper Marlboro just before 1 p.m.

Police say Anthony Mark Aiken, 22, was speeding in the northbound lane when he lost control, hit a ditch and flipped. Aiken then struck a Hyundai Sonata in the left lane.

The juvenile, who was sitting in the backseat, was ejected from Aiken's vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene. Aiken, his front seat passenger, Keith David Hammond-Hatcher, 22, and another juvenile were injured.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of Pennsylvania Avenue for about five hours.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and no charges have been filed at the time.
