Virginia Election 2013: Glitch causes backups in Loudoun Co.
ASHBURN, VA (WJLA) - Election officials say technical problems caused some delays in Loudoun County Tuesday morning. At about a third of the precincts, there were issues with laptops used to verify registered voters. It caused long lines in some places.
ABC7 spoke to some voters who couldn't wait and had to leave for work before casting their ballots. Loudoun County says all of the affected precincts did have at least one functioning electronic poll book.
