Dec. 23 marks the annual celebration of Festivus, a pseudo-holiday popularized by the sitcom Seinfeld.

One of the show's writers, Dan O'Keefe, injected his family's tradition into an episode of the show, during which celebrants erect a Festivus pole (in lieu of a Christmas tree or menorah) and perform the "feats of strength."

Most notably, Festivus is marked by the annual "airing of grievances," when family members let their problems all hang out.
