WASHINGTON (AP) - The D.C. police department has reopened the Key Bridge after police activity closed the span's outbound lanes for an hour Friday morning.
Police had initially closed the bridge to traffic in both directions just after 6 a.m. but quickly reopened traffic to inbound traffic headed from Virginia into the District. Lanes headed into the District were reopened just after 7 a.m.
The bridge connects the D.C neighborhood of Georgetown to Rosslyn in Virginia.
