Noel Walker accused in vicious knife attack

(WJLA) - A Fredericksburg man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after police say he attacked a woman in a Fredericksburg parking lot and stabbed her multiple times.

Police say the 19-year-old victim was leaving her job at a physical therapy office in the Chatham Heights Office Park Thursday evening when Noel Walker, 21, grabbed her, threw her to the ground, and stabbed her.

Walker ran off toward the McDonald's nearby. When a deputy approached him, Walker began stabbing himself in the neck and chest, authorities say. When he refused to drop his weapon, Walker was tased.

The victim suffered several stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Walker was also transported with life-threatening injuries.
