WASHINGTON (WJLA) - The Metropolitan Police Officer accused of taking naked photos of a teenager while on duty earlier this week will be released to house arrest, a judge ruled Friday.

Washington will only be allowed to leave his home to go to court.

Ofc. Marc Washington will remain in jail over the weekend, and on Monday, he'll be forced to turn over the deed to his home. He will only be allowed to leave home to make court appearances, the judge said.

Washington, who sources say works in Washington's 7th District, was arrested Tuesday on allegations of producing child pornography. Officials allege that he asked a 15-year-old girl to remove her clothing during an investigation into a missing persons report.

The victim allegedly complied with Washington's request, taking off her bra and boxer shorts. Washington then took photos of the girl.

He allegedly tried to delete the photos from his phone after he learned he would be arrested. Law enforcement officials were able to recover enough evidence to take him into custody though.

Washington is one of two officers accused of crimes involving teenage girls this week. On Wednesday, another 7th District officer was accused in court documents of running a prostitution ring out of his D.C. apartment.

A third officer was suspended on Friday in connection to this investigation, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier says.
